Welcome To The King Harolds Head

Said to date back to 1032, Perhaps the monarch himself used to drop in for a jug of his favourite ale! We do hope this didn't dull his reflexes to that famous arrow! Waltham Abbey is reputed to be his final resting place after a short but memorable reign as King. He was respected by his subjects and soldiers for his bravery and courage and many victories in battle.

Your hosts, Paul & Kaye with Head Chef Darryl and his team hope that you enjoy our website and look forward to welcoming you to the King Harold’s Head.
